It is one of my core beliefs that a woman should prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the birth of her baby. When an expectant mother (& father) is informed about the process of birth, her choices and rights at the hospital (or at home) she will step into motherhood feeling more empowered and confident.
I believe that during the whole length of pregnancy and the process of birth a woman needs loving and genuine care, support and guidance to be able to move through these stages of womanhood with bliss & ease.
Mama in Bloom Sessions
The Mama in Bloom Sessions are for the mothers that want to regain self-trust in their bodies, their babies & the process of birth. It’s for the mother’s that want to feel fully prepared and informed for the birth of their dreams. It’s for the mothers that want to create a moment in their busy lives to connect with their babies and relax into their bodies.
They are the ultimate 1-1 Personalized Birth Preparation Sessions.
During these sessions I guide you and help you prepare mentally, emotionally & physically for labor and birth with different holistic & traditional practices.
The sessions can start being taken from 18 weeks on. The best physical effects will be felt after 25 weeks of pregnancy. However, the sooner you start, the more prepared, confident & relaxed you’ll feel for the birth of your baby.
It is recommended to book a minimum of 4 sessions to be better prepared and to be able to cover more topics and practices. When you book more than 3 sessions, your partner is welcome to join in the last session.
Each session lasts 1 hour and a half and they end with a relaxing rebozo massage and guided meditation.
Sessions are held in Mama of Light Studio in Santa Cruz. They can also be held in the comfort of your own home for an additional AWG 35,- per session
The Mama in Bloom Sessions are NOT like a an ordinary Prenatal Yoga Class. They are much more than that.
During these sessions you will practice and learn about the following topics:
Prenatal Yoga, Movements for Labor, Meditation, Breathing Techniques for Labor, Birth Visualization, Birth Planning, Learning about your rights and choices at the Hospital, Relaxing Rebozo Massage, Mental Coaching, Hypnobirthing Techniques for Pain Control, Emotional guidance, Partner Guidance, Postpartum Preparation etc.

Parents in Bloom Sessions
“It takes two to get the baby in, so it will take two to get the baby out”.
The Parents in Bloom Sessions are for partners that want to prepare together for the birth of their baby. Father’s play a very important role in the whole process of labor, birth & postpartum. When father’s carry fear and doubts around the birthing process, this can have many negative effects on the mother during the laboring process and her postpartum time. When parents are prepared, informed & know how to support each other best, the whole process tends to go much smoother.
During the Partners in Bloom sessions I will guide you and your partner to prepare for labor, birth & postpartum in the mental, emotional, physical & informational fields.
Each session last 2 hours and can be held in the comfort of your own home or at our studio in Santa Cruz. It is best to start these sessions in the third trimester. It is also recommended to book a minimum of 2 sessions for better preparation.
During the Birth in Union Sessions you will learn together about the following practices/topics:
Anatomy & Hormones, Phases of Labor, Birth Planning, Do’s & Don’ts, Emotional & Mental Support, Partner Support Techniques Rebozo Massage, Counter Pressure Techniques, Birth Planning, Postpartum Care Tips etc.

7-week Prenatal Yoga & Movement Program
As you embark on the beautiful journey of motherhood Prenatal Yoga is a beautiful way to nurture and prepare your body, mind and spirit for labor, birth and your postpartum period.
This program was designed to bring mama’s together in a safe space so we can prepare for labor, birth & postpartum but also so you can feel supported & held by the other pregnant mama’s in our community.
We’re gonna be doing different physical & mental practices that will make you feel more confident, informed & ready for one of the most important moments of your life.
This program will consist of:
6 Weekly Prenatal Yoga & Movement Classes on:
17th of October 6:30PM, 24th of October 6:30PM, 31st of October 6:30PM, 7th of November 6:30PM, 14th of November 6:30PM & 21st of November 6:30PM.
and
1 Holistic Birth Workshop on the 30th of November from 10:30AM - 1PM.
During this workshop we will cover different topics that are crucial to understand for your empowered birth experience, think about:
Physiology of birth, Do's and don'ts, How to create a birth plan, Hypnobirthing techniques for pain management, Your rights and choices at the hospital or at home with a midwife, Phases of labor and birth etc.
What to expect during your Prenatal Yoga Classes:
You can expect a gentle yet effective 1-hour practice that includes:
Breathwork : Techniques to help you relax and prepare for labor.
Gentle Poses : Tailored stretches to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts and strengthen your body.
Meditation : Practices to cultivate mindfulness, helping you connect with your baby and embrace the journey of motherhood.
Customized Guidance : I will provide modifications and adjustments based on your individual progress and comfort level.
